Victoria's interest to work in paediatrics stemmed from a volunteer trip to Indonesia to teach children of all abilities to learn English and improve health care.
Victoria started volunteering with the Healthy Strides Foundation in 2019 whilst studying physiotherapy at Curtin University. University placements at MSWA and Perth Children's Hospital iRehab further developed Victoria's interest in working with children and young adults with neurological conditions.
In November 2021 Victoria graduated from Curtin university with a bachelor of science- physiotherapy and was a member of the Vice Chancellor's list. She joined the HSF team as a Rehabilitation Assistant in 2021 before coming on board as a physiotherapist in January 2022 as part of the new graduate program. In her first year as a physiotherapist, Victoria contributed to the Participate programs, helping children to engage in sport and physical activity. Victoria has a passion for promoting inclusion and maximising engagement for children with disabilities to participate in their community.
